December 2009Alumni spotlight: Kathryn Armstrong '08
"Going Home," a 34-piece artwork by Kathryn Armstrong '08, is being added to an Interstate 70 interchange as part of Indianapolis' efforts to beautify entrances to the city, which is preparing to host the 2012 Super Bowl.
Her colorful artwork was chosen over six other concepts. Armstrong, who received a master's degree at EIU, is a graduate student in the Herron School of Art and Design, IUPUI.

EIU Alumni Day at Lantz Arena
Students will still be away on break during the EIU vs. SEMO games on Jan. 9, making it the perfect opportunity for EIU alumni to step up and cheer the Panthers on to victory during EIU Alumni Day at Lantz Arena.
Sure, the men's game will be on ESPNU, but a television can't provide a Jimmy John's buffet lunch, EIU giveaways and the opportunity to meet the players. We can! Get your tickets today.
